Recent ActivityThank you for your interest in educational travel! The Summer Adventure! is an educational travel program designed specifically for Mountainside 6th 7th and 8th grade students. Our next tour is planned for the summer of 2011. It will be a 13 day European tour traveling to France, Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands. Highlights include a visit to Anne Frank's house, Kayaking on the Semois River, Bourscheild Castle, D-Day beaches at Normandy, Paris Catacombs, Eiffel Tower ascent, Berlin, Sachsenhausen (concentration camp), and Potsdam... Just to name a few!!! Monthly meetings will take place with all participating students to study Country specific information and prepare for travel.
Group Announcements Summer Adventure Tour CanceledRegrettably, I am forced to cancel the 2011 Summer Adventure tour due to lack of enrollment. I would have liked very much to be able to provide this opportunity to students (especially my nephew, who I had enrolled several months ago), but think it’s best to throw in the towel at this point. Basic schedule: 1) You must commit to participating in the tour by Friday September 24. Do this by "requesting to join" this group and sending me an e-mail at the address above. 2) Once we reach 20 participants, I'll send you a link from which you can enroll with Explorica. As long as you enroll (costs $95) before October 1 your tour fee will be locked. 3) If we do not reach 20 participants by September 24 the tour may be canceled.
